Russian Fashion Week Spring 2006
A few interesting things happening in Moscow this week. All photos in this post courtesy of Artefact Communications Agency.

What a nice sweater shape. Intriguing asymmetry and a nice closure.

Very much an Art Deco feeling, and of course Russian designers were very much to the fore then.

I like the fabric design. It's great with this coat shape.

Cute little peplum blouse and a nice print.

Double edge jacket effect created with a flounce, reminiscent of the Armani spring show.

Nothing startling here, just some nice clothes.

Interesting pants with trim and tucks up the sides, and banded cuffs.

Cute blue binding on an oversized yellow coat.

The designer in a nice sheer/opaque top.

Cute top with contrast turnback and sides.

Interesting embellishment and fabric choices. Lots of 3D embroidery here.

A classic boudoir wrap, beautifully embroidered.

An unusual empire-waist coat with a real Russian-fantasy feel.

Another empire waist, with nice side shaping and tucks.

Interesting block printing and double front on the jacket.

Beautifully draped ballerina dress. I like the soft ruffle at the top of the skirt.

Unique skirt trim.

A very cute design, but the fabrication leaves a little to be desired.

Darling tie closure on this coat.

Very cute take on an apron dress.

I really like the hem trim on this skirt.

What beautiful fabric in this coat. Surely it's handpainted.
