Erdem Moralioglu Fall 2006 RTW

I must admit I don't remember seeing this designer's first collection, but I really like almost all of his things this season.

A very nicely tailored dress with a great print tie.

A most interesting combination of lengths and garments. It really seems to work.

A darling dress with intricate seaming, and of course the hat just sets it off.

A very nice raglan overdress.

A lovely coat with great exploitation of the patterned fabric.

A great example of how to make anyone look taller and thinner.

Just a lovely dress in a beautiful print.

Cropped jacket over a wrap blouse.

A very nice use of perpendicular stripes as a yoke. It lifts this blouse from pedestrian to eye-catching. This is the same technique used on the hound's-tooth check coat above.

Another interesting use of a striped fabric.

A very Victorian bride, and the winged hat just makes it.
