Chado Ralph Rucci Fall 2006 RTW

A gorgeous suit with all the Rucci details. Applique, intricate seaming, luxe fabrication, sheer insets, asian-influenced wrapped belting.

A close up of the face-framing collar of the above look. Notice the beautiful brocade.

A new silhouette for Rucci with the coccoon jacket.

Lovely high contrast knits. His ability to interpret graphic designs on clothing is superb.

A sleek coat.

Ankle-length sable with a canework overlayer.

A simple dress with interesting insets.

A sheer fabric covered with tiny dots makes a lovely twinset. Flat-front, slim pants as per usual.

An intricately made wrapped belt.

Shearling, and casual, but not too casual.

You can see some of the faggoted seams on the coat and decorative/shaping seams on the skirt.

A unique contrast-lined overskirt. It gives this a renaissance feel.

The bolero-over-jacket look, but in a fresh way with a lovely surface design.

A lovely appliqued jacket.

A typical dress with intricate wrappings. Long gloves stand in for sleeves below the elbow. (Photo lightened to show details.)

A beautiful funnel neck coat in a brilliant color.

Sheer stretch insets have become a trademark.

Lacy insets on a coat.

Button placement takes this dress to a new level.

an all-over faggoted inset jacket.

You can really see the technique here.

This coat uses embroidery/embellishment as a substitute for insets.

A close up of this technique.

A lovely cocktail drss with such an impractical (and so, very desirable) feather trim.

Another overskirt effect. Turtle shell purse.

What an intriguing use of color and pattern.

Just a fantastically beautiful and unique dress.

Quite the juxtaposition of fabrics.
