Bill Blass Fall 05
Bill Blass is not the same of course. Not reliably wonderful throughout, but still interesting, and very good in places. Fabulous fabric for this dress/coat ensemble. Still going with the slightly high-waisted look too.

A very cute jacket/top look. Great detail and trim. The asymmetric closure would mean wearing it closed at all times. All the pants I see are wide legged, but not all are obviously pleated. All are in very drapey fabrics though.

Beautiful use of sheers, although I could see it much more practically with pants.

This is the most plain vanilla-style blouse I've seen yet, albeit in a wild fabric.

Darling, darling suit, and a most characteristic use of a large scale plaid. The feather hem is cute, and could easily be detachable. It might even be the hem of a petticoat, as he shows some that are certainly done that way with full skirts.

He has a couple with this jacket shape, incorporating the use of multiple fabrics. It's interesting, but I'm not sure about it. I think it's the patches on the shoulders that seem a little off, but that may only be because of the very striking Rust/Green color combination. It reminds me of one of the Marfy spring patterns this year. No pleats in these pants either.

I really like this jacket, Liana. You have done a wonderful job with your blogs. Where do you find the time?
